Zero Data Collection

Privacy Policy

We built SecurePass on one principle — your passwords belong to you and only you. We collect nothing.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025  ·  Last Updated: January 1, 2025

We collect absolutely zero data

SecurePass has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no internet access. Everything you store stays on your device, encrypted, forever.

1

Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the SecurePass Toolkit Android application (the "App"), developed and maintained by the developer reachable at edtraveltour622@gmail.com.

This policy describes how the App handles — or more accurately, does not handle — your information. By installing or using the App, you confirm you have read and understood this policy.

2

Information We Collect

Short answer: None. We do not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal information whatsoever.

Specifically, the App does not collect:

3

How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into the App — passwords, labels, and settings — is stored exclusively on your local device using the following security measures:

When you uninstall the App, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from your device. There is no backup copy anywhere because we have no servers.
4

Internet & Network Access

The App does not request internet permission in its Android Manifest. This means:

5

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, including:

The only external libraries used are open-source Android Jetpack components (Room, Navigation, ViewModel) — all operated entirely on-device.

6

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the App is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

7

Data Backup

The App has disabled Android's automatic cloud backup (android:allowBackup="false"). This means your vault is never backed up to Google Drive or any other cloud service — even if you have Android Backup enabled on your device.

This is an intentional security decision to ensure your encrypted passwords remain exclusively on your physical device.

8

Your Rights

Because we collect no data, the traditional data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are automatically satisfied:

9

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with the changes, you may uninstall the App at any time.
